Employees do their best work when they are feeling valued, engaged and stimulated. As a manager, understanding how to get the best out of your people is crucial but not always straightforward. Navigating the complexities of employment law, minimising risk to the organisation whilst maintaining optimum levels of engagement can also be tricky!
Managing people risk is suitable for managers and leaders at all levels. It’s a lively session that engages participants, promotes discussion and enables participants to reflect on their communication and management styles. Without being a lecture on the law, it ensures managers understand the legal context in which they are operating, provides some best practice guidance and highlights key high-risk areas. Throughout the session, we ask participants to consider things that they say or write, how they may be perceived by different people and what the implications of that might be.
