Our legal background and experience (both in-house and in private practice) means that we will always approach employment problems in a particular way. It's the way we are!

Whilst we are not practising lawyers and we will not give legal advice, we are able to approach problems in a way that will be of value to you (or to your clients - we increasingly work with the clients of law firms offering the sort of 'softer' services that it is increasingly uneconomic for the law firms to provide).

Our investigations, early reconciliation and coaching work are obvious examples of how we can provide innovative solutions for you.

Supporting a redundancy programme being conducted by the HR team following legal advice on the strategy to be followed (drafting letters, considering 'problem' cases, training the employee reps and the management team about consultation etc.).

Working with a Diversity Team to alert 'Diversity Champions' to the legal and related risks inherent in their activities.
Reviewing handbooks and other employment documentation generally or in relation to particular issues.
