Whilst we are working with byrne∙dean, none of us give legal advice. However, the simple truth is that byrne∙dean was founded by, employs and works with, people who are qualified and have worked as employment lawyers.
Employment lawyers from top firms with masses of experience. All of the team have well over a decade's post qualification experience each and some of us have over forty years!
Experience: in top City and national practices, in in-house legal jobs in investment banks and in industry acting for respondents and acting for claimants.
We have all chosen to move away from advice based jobs, we have developed other skills. But you never stop thinking like a lawyer.
Whatever we are doing, whether we are:
- training a group of managers,
- coaching an individual,
- conducting investigation interviews, or
- trying to bring about resolution with an aggrieved party,
we will inevitably approach that task as an employment lawyer would – with an eye to legal risk.
We keep up to date in a fast moving area, we are interested in the subject. Many of the team are qualified and work as mediators or Employment Judges. We regularly speak at conferences, we are recognised as a major player in our chosen areas.
As we are working in difficult, potentially high risk areas, our clients rightly place confidence in our background experience. Our legal backgrounds are also very important in giving us a credibility with the people that we are working with.
