Jennie Wade
Jennie is an accredited mediator and employment lawyer. She regularly mediates commercial and workplace disputes including partnership, contract, restrictive covenant, severance, discrimination and equal pay disputes.
Jennie was instrumental in the establishment of the first panel of specialist workplace mediators at In Place of Strife. She has practised as a partner and advocate with an international law firm and has been passionate about dispute resolution in the workplace since the late eighties. She has advised across the full range of employment law issues in both private and public sector contexts.
Jennie was invited to participate in the Gibbons review and actively lobbied for the repeal of the Dispute Resolution Regulations. Jennie has regularly provided training in all aspects of workplace dispute resolution, including the design of workplace mediation projects. She currently uses mediation techniques to address difficult workplace grievance disputes pre claim as part of byrne·dean’s early resolution service.
