Our people
Paul Saunders
Paul has over 20 years' experience working with a wide range of international blue chip and public sector organizations to leverage the potential of their cultural diversity for competitive advantage. He has lived in six different countries and works in many more as a trainer, consultant, facilitator and coach. This gives him first-hand experience inside large organisations of the challenges of working cross-culturally – and it gives him the opportunity to get on and off a lot of planes.
Paul works at all levels within organisations, using his broad set of skills to work with clients to develop strategies, frameworks and tools which will enable cross-cultural issues to be tackled and resolved both quickly and pragmatically. Renowned for his dynamic, interactive and thought-provoking style, Paul has the ability to engage people in challenging their perceptions and behaviours when working cross-culturally and to develop them into more effective global performers.
He has a first degree in French and German and an MBA. Since 1998 he has been an Associate Lecturer on the Open University Business School’s international MBA programme and is currently researching the challenge of creative problem solving in multicultural teams. In addition, Paul is an active member of SIETAR (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) and much in demand as an energising and entertaining speaker at corporate events.
