Our people
Siobhan Elliott
Siobhan has been a key member of the byrne·dean team since 2005. An experienced employment lawyer, she is a CEDR and ADR accredited mediator and as such was involved from the outset in shaping our early reconciliation project. Siobhan now leads our early reconciliation team in addition to being a central member of our education team.
Siobhan qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and worked in private practice for Linklaters and DLA before moving in-house to MCI WorldCom in 2000 where she was appointed Legal Director responsible for all employment related issues in 13 jurisdictions throughout Europe in 2002.
Siobhan has significant experience of High Court and Tribunal litigation and in advising upon a wide range of non-contentious employment and HR issues. She has particular experience in advising upon the strategic issues relating to the restructuring and reorganisations and the implementation of new legislation and internal policies.
In both her education and early reconciliation work Siobhan draws on her thorough understanding of how legal issues arise in the work place and how problems develop. She firmly believes in a non-legalistic and interactive approach. Her interest in the psychology of disputes underpins all her work. She trains on all aspects of employment law, diversity and presentation skills.
