Training

We train groups of our clients’ managers or employees, normally on our clients’ premises.   Sometimes we work with the HR population, more usually with the wider population.  Without exception our training is done by:

We prize and we develop in all of our associates the ability to engage and to provoke an audience.  Above all our associates are credible, experienced professionals.  It’s a powerful combination.

Our sessions are genuinely interactive.  People learn when they are thinking, so we stimulate them, we ask them questions and get them talking.  We steer away from powerpoint wherever possible.

“Don’t mention the law” – when we started training, we saw very clearly that it’s not about us imparting information.  It’s about highlighting what people need to know, what impacts on their daily life.

Our sessions incorporate our extensive legal knowledge and are rooted in it but the confidence our experience brings means we do not have to recite the law at delegates.

Do it in less time!  We ask "how long can you keep people away from their desks?" What matters is the quality and impact of the learning not its scale and the thickness of a handout that will gather dust.

 Actor based learning

We are increasingly utilising the benefits of drama in our sessions.  It’s an effective way of communicating on an emotional level.

We work with an outstanding, enthusiastic and flexible group of actors.  We have individually chosen the best actors we’ve worked with over the years.  Their skills as actors are a given, we particularly value their ability to feedback, to explain to delegates how they felt during the interaction.

"The key thing is frequently to understand how the other person felt."
