My main interest is in using evidence-based practice to uncover organisational questions and developing creative interventions to answer them. I have a particular interest in the interaction between context, performance and wellbeing for individuals, teams and organisations. Over the last 15 years I have also regularly helped people who want to change career.
I started my career as a research chemist and moved into management consulting and HR before studying psychology and organisational psychology, specialising in organisational development. I am a fellow of the Center for Evidence-based Management and occasionally lecture on postgraduate organisational psychology courses. I am accredited to use ability and personality assessments including NEO-PI3, Hogan and strengthscope.
I have worked on some very interesting projects with the team at byrne.dean since 2019.
I’m happiest when I’m riding my bike – a form of meditation when I am training and in flow state when I’m racing. My MSc dissertation was about the effect of commuting by bike psychological wellbeing.
