Graham Browning

Director of Resolution
"It was very relevant and done in a very effective way. Your experience made a difference. Much easier to follow than I expected in a virtual environment. Very interactive and enjoyable - even more considering it's a subject matter I’m very familiar with, it was still a really interesting and insightful use of an afternoon. Pitched just right, imo, by you Graham. Many thanks."
Senior leader, Financial services

I’ve had an unusual career. I spent many years as a go-to person for major people issues, often in the public eye. I have a Masters degree in Organisational Psychology/ Behaviour and am a Meyler Campbell executive coach. I was an employment solicitor for 21 years, training at Clifford Chance. I’m known for calmly solving difficult problems the right way, with minimal fuss.

I was Freshfields’ Global Head of Employee Relations and People Performance. A trusted advisor to senior leaders for over two decades, my focus was on crises, culture and change. I led a worldwide programme to address behaviour post #metoo and had key roles on major transformations (eg the credit crunch and changing the operating model). I worked with partners in behavioural difficulty.  I led a team for many years, including through times of turmoil. I was on faculty for a Stephen Lawrence Foundation initiative to increase diversity in Law.

I lead our team that resolves people issues. I work 1-1 with individuals to help them have the right impact. I also train around the world on how to deal with the challenges of a rapidly changing workplace. My style is insightful, engaging and practical.
