Preventing sexual harassment

Digital behaviour modules that get you ahead of the all reasonable steps duty, now in force.

The bar has risen

From October 2026, the duty to prevent sexual harassment moved from reasonable steps to all reasonable steps. One word, but it moved the bar considerably. Third-party harassment, by clients, customers or contractors, is now covered, and liability extends to other protected characteristics too.
‍

Tribunals and the EHRC will be looking for evidence of practical, behavioural change, not just policies on file.

Built to change behaviour, not tick a box

Legal training tells people what the law says. It doesn't change how people act. Our digital behaviour modules are built by former employment lawyers but designed around real judgement calls and grey areas, the moments where people aren't sure whether to speak up. If you've already got something in place, it's worth checking whether it meets that bar, or whether it's more of a policy tick-box exercise.
‍

Our eLearning is the fastest way to get something in place, and it can be rolled out quickly.

For organisations that want more

The digital modules work as a complete, standalone solution. Some organisations also want to go further for people managers and leaders, who are often the first to hear concerns or need to challenge behaviour directly.
‍

Our live sessions use real-world examples and bespoke case studies to explore how behaviour evolves over time, and how power dynamics, hierarchy and silence can let inappropriate conduct become normalised. Participants work through what accountability looks like and how to intervene before concerns escalate into something formal.

Where an individual's behaviour has already created risk, we also offer focused, confidential one-to-one interventions.

Sessions are tailored to your organisation's context and risk profile.

We have been working with byrne·dean on a programme to help our colleagues understand harassment both in, and outside, of the workplace. What became clear very quickly was that byrne·dean not only understood what we needed but also cared enough to get it right.
