At the heart of my work is a genuine interest in people and an ability to connect with others. This enables me to build trust quickly, navigate complex workplace dynamics, and support fair, constructive outcomes.
My background is as a top ranked senior employment lawyer and law firm partner. In my 16 years as an employment lawyer, I advised both companies and senior individuals on a wide range of employment related issues.
For organisations, I supported senior leaders through complex and sensitive disputes - work that demanded not just technical legal expertise, but commercial acumen, clear judgment, and the ability to earn senior stakeholder confidence. I was also a trusted advisor on people-focused strategies that helped prevent disputes and foster positive, high-performing workplace cultures.
For senior individuals, I provided support through some of the most challenging moments of their careers - sometimes potentially career-ending, and often career-defining, or even life-defining. I was recognised for my work in this respect as a Leading Individual by Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK from 2021 to 2025.
This dual experience gives me a balanced perspective - one that informs every aspect of my work as a workplace consultant. Having advised both employers and employees, I understand how issues look and feel from both sides: what drives employee concerns and what pressures organisations face in responding. This insight helps me approach investigations and mediations with clear judgment, impartiality, and empathy. It also allows me to build trust across all levels of an organisation, and to create the kind of space where people feel safe, heard, and respected.
In investigations and workplace mediations, I bring a structured, fair approach grounded in legal expertise and emotional intelligence. I have completed CEDR Mediation Skills Training, which I draw on to support effective fact-finding, analysis, and dispute resolution - particularly in high-stakes or emotionally charged situations.
I love working with people - listening to their stories, understanding their experiences, and helping to shape fair, constructive outcomes. Whether I’m facilitating difficult conversations or helping organisations navigate complex cultural challenges, I bring empathy, clarity, positivity, and a calm, impartial presence.
